We begin to heal when we decide
We start where we are

Humanistic psychology adopts a holistic approach that focuses on free will, human potential, and self-discovery. It aims to help you develop a strong and healthy sense of self, explore your feelings, find meaning, and focus on your strengths.

I believe that you have everything you need to heal and grow, to become fulfilled and self-actualized. I believe that you have the innate wisdom to find your way. I would be honored to facilitate and witness your growth and transformation. I am here to collaborate.  I will ask questions that may inspire you to find awareness and come to understand where you are stuck and the best pathway out.

What brings you to me?  What would you hope to achieve through our work together?  You are in charge. I will make suggestions (maybe) and I will make recommendations (maybe). I do not give "advice" per se. I will share what I have learned and what I have seen and experienced and we will begin. We will experiment. We will try new ways of doing and being. We will look back to the degree that it is helpful and we will look forward to the degree that it is helpful and then we will work in this present moment.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
My practice focuses on trauma, addiction & recovery, eating disorders, life transitions, relationships, and aging.

In addition to traditional talk therapy, I have been practicing Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) for over four years with an emphasis on treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma.

I trained as a KAP therapist at the Ketamine Training Center in San Rafael, California with Phil Wolfson and his team. I also studied under the direction of Jeffrey Becker, MD.  I am currently active in several Ketamine and Psychedelic Therapy consultation groups where I am fortunate to learn from my colleagues in the field.

I am MAPS trained in MDMA Assisted Psychotherapy, which at this time is an investigational drug and is under application submission to the FDA for approval.
I have also been formally trained in Psychedelic Therapy and Integration by Fluence.

As a lifelong learner, I am on a continuous path seeking growth and knowledge, both as an individual and a psychotherapist.

You will find me most often looking forward to a training, conference, or experience where I can learn and connect with experts in my field.
I am also in my own weekly psychotherapy.
I enjoy learning with my clients, as this is what originally brought me to KAP.

I find immense joy spending time with my 3 children and in the outdoors, ideally at the same time🤗
Techniques I use

Ways we can pave a path to healing

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an intervention that begins with an awareness of the thoughts, belief systems and behaviors that govern us.

Parts Work

Parts work begins with an awareness of all of the different parts of us and the role they play in our lives.
Our goal is to understand and embrace these parts and to work in harmony and collaboration for our best physical and mental health.

Addiction Recovery

Beginning with harm reduction, we work to understand and overcome dependence on harmful and addictive substances & behaviors, working toward lasting mental and physical health.

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

KAP is the therapeutic process that combines the administration of ketamine by a licensed medical professional, with psychotherapy, to improve mental and physical health.

A collaborative, goal-oriented process to assist in developing skills and strategies for achieving your objectives coupled with accountability.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a skill based approach combining CBT and Mindfulness for managing emotions, handling stress, improving relationships, and living mindfully.

I Believe In

We begin with self-compassion as this, in my experience, is the most overlooked of all of the interventions available.
